| Olson Dairy World Class Genetics at Midwest Values |
| Olson Dairy is a 275 cow mixed herd operation and has been a Brown Swiss Genetic Honor Herd since 2000. Our cows are milked three times a day in a double six herringbone parlor. Holsteins and Brown Swiss, along with a few Milking Shorthorn, are in mixed within the same groups in a freestall set up. The first Brown Swiss cow to break the 50,000 lb barrier in one lactation - IE Thane Jane, also called Olson Dairy Home. Currently the dairy has a rolling herd average of 27,962 lbs of milk with 1,154 lbs of fat and 900 lbs of protein. Olson Dairy has been owned and operated by Les and Jo Olson since 1981. The Olson Family includes Aaron and his son Brody, Katie, Kelsey, and Kaysie and Todd and their daughter MorgynManion. |
